Through St. Faustina, Jesus has promised us, “I want to grant a complete pardon to the souls that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My mercy” (Diary, 1109). To receive the “plenary indulgence” or complete remission of our temporal punishments due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven requires certain conditions to be fulfilled on Divine Mercy Sunday; we should:  Celebrate the Feast on the Sunday after Easter;  Sincerely repent of all our sins;  Place our complete trust in Jesus;  Go to Confession, preferably before that Sunday;  Receive Holy Communion on the day of the Feast;  Venerate the Image of The Divine Mercy;  Be merciful to others, through our actions, words, and prayers on their behalf.
