You are invited to participate in Spanish language Bible Study, which has as its goal to help you to better know the message of Christ in your life and thus have the necessary tools to grow not only in knowledge but above all in a closer relationship with the person of Christ. Our meetings will take place on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in PCMR#1. Classes will begin on Wednesday, March 13. The classes will be in Spanish.
The next series of Pre-Cana marriage preparation classes will begin on July 22. This five-week series of classes facilitates dialogue and prayer prior to a couple’s wedding. The class satisfies the marriage preparation program requirement in the Diocese of Sacramento. The cost is $75. To register, please contact the parish office.
If you have not yet begun the process of planning your wedding through the parish office, please do so before signing up for the class. Keep in mind that this process should begin at least six months prior to your desired wedding date. Baptism certificates for the bride and groom issued within the last six months should be brought to the first appointment with the priest.

The increasing number of requests for Communion from our parishioners who cannot attend Mass due to illness, age, etc. is outstripping our current resources. We are happy to announce that St. Joseph the Protector Council is holding its Annual Recruiting Drive during the weekend of March 30th and 31st. Knights will be available after every Mass in the Narthex, to explain the many benefits of membership, how to become a Knight, and how you can serve your GOD, Church and Parish Community. At 2:00 pm Sunday, the Knights will welcome you into the Brotherhood following a brief ceremony. So if you are a Catholic Gentlemen now is the time to take the next step!

St. Joseph Parish is seeking a part-time (25 hours/week) administrative assistant. Duties of this position include greeting visitors, answering phones, scheduling use of church facilities, coordinating sacraments and events, and maintaining organized files and records. Ideal candidate should have good organizational and communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience working in an office environment. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Notre Dame School is having a busy March. We began Lent with a beautiful Ash Wednesday Mass. Students and their families are engaged in almsgiving using Rice Bowls; these collections will benefit Catholic Relief Services. Our Academic Decathlon team did well in diocesan competition earlier this month. Spring Robotics is getting underway, and Girls’ Basketball is having good success.
