(CFC) is a movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. The members have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another so that they may grow in maturity as men and women of God and fulfill their primary vocation of raising up families under the lordship of Jesus Christ and for the service of the Kingdom of God.  Couples for Christ is a work of Christ which raises up Christian couples and establishes Christian families committed to the work of evangelization, winning the world for Christ and Total Human Liberation through the power of the Holy Spirit. It grows mainly through the establishment of localized units in different parishes.

CFC Kids is a global ministry of faithful, loving and enthusiastic children of God guided by the holy spirit in preparing Christ-like leaders who will be instruments of hope and healing to families that will bless the world.

CFC Kids is a Family Ministry of Couples for Christ (CFC). It is a means of supporting the mission of bringing families back to God by providing an environment that would assist parents in fulfilling this mission.

CFC Kids provides a Christian Support Environment for Kids
There are two age groups of Kids so that the activities provided are age appropriate.
  • Junior Kids- age 4-8
  • Senior Kids- age 9-12

CFC Kids fulfills it’s mission with 3 types of programs
  • Kids Evangelization
  • Family Enrichment
  • Social Renewal

Kids Evangelization Kids Evangelization programs make Jesus the most exciting person in the lives of the kids. We do this through fun activities, singing songs and making friends during mini retreats called “Kids Camps” and monthly activities called “Kids Assemblies”. The kids are lead by members of CFC-Youth (age 13-21) called the R.O.C.K. (Reaching Out Christ to Kids) team. The kids look up to and learn from these older brothers and sisters in Christ.

Family Enrichment CFC Kids realizes how important family is in the lives of kids. We provide opportunities for families to grow closer to each other and closer to God. We conduct family activities such as picnics, family camping, mother/daughter activities and father/son activities. We also encourage parents to get involved with the CFC Kids Ministry.

Social Renewal CFC Kids aims to build an environment where kids can make an impact on renewing society. Social Renewal programs focus on helping the kids become Heroes in their everyday life. Some Social Renewal programs include:

  • Enviro Kids – Helping the kids learn to protect the environment
  • Media Kids – Teaching the kids appropriate ways to use media and technology
  • Kidsness– Raising Money to help the poor
  • Fit Kids – Teaching the kids the importance of exercise and eating well     100% Pure Kids – Teaching the kids about purity and respect for life

Who can join Couples for Christ?

  • Any validly married Catholic couple can become members of CFC. Although a Catholic movement/organization, CFC remains open to having non-Catholic Christians as members.

How do I become a member of CFC?

  • Those who want to join CFC will have to go through a Christian Life Program (CLP).

 What is Christian Life Program?

  • The Christian Life Program or CLP is an integrated course intended to lead the couple into a renewed understanding of God’s call to them as Christians. It runs for a total of 13 separate sessions, held once a week. At the end of the seminar, couple-participants are invited to dedicate themselves to the Lord as CFC members and to commit to participate actively in the life of the community and of the Church through regular prayer meetings, attendance in community assemblies and teachings, participation in parish life.
  • CLP graduates are then grouped into cell groups called “households”, consisting of at least 4 and up to 7 couples under the pastoral care supervision of a household head.
  • The households are an essential feature of community life for the adults. They meet once a week, to discuss the Gospel, share testimonies about their own struggles to live according to Christ’s example, and to support one another in their spiritual journey.
  • CFC members are expected to work actively for the renewal of their own families, on the premise that the family is the basic unit of society.

What should I do if I am interested to attend the Christian Life Program (CLP)?

  • If you are interested on joining a CLP and later CFC, you may ask any CFC member that you know or you may check from list of CLP schedules and get in touch with the contact person in your parish.

Do I have to pay anything?

  • There are no fees or any monetary expenses required from participants. The only investment required is time and openness.
